Lake Falcon is a reservoir on the main stream of the Rio Grande RiverIt is located 40 miles east of Laredo on Highway 83 in Zapata and Starr counties. With 83,654 sq. miles of surface, Falcon hold lots of big bass and channel cat. It has quickly become one of the top trophy lakes in the US for largemouth bass. With its scattered and sparce hydrilla, those who learn Falcon can find large concentrations of bass in small areas. This is a great lake to fish, if you know where to fish. This map will show you the best spots. It even has GPS coordinates of the best spots for each seasonal pattern.
