Lake Texoma Fishing Report
3/1 – For largemouth bass, the three coves east of Loe’s are a nice Spring spot. Look for grass and depth changes and work them with a lizard rigged carolina style. Crawfish colored Rat-l Traps are also a good bait in the Spring on Texoma. The limestone creekbed is also excellent for Spring bass. Spinners, Rat-l Traps or lizards will be the key here. It really depends on conditions as to which ones you have the most luck with. For Stripped Bass, they are doing well at Fobb point and Sherwood Shores. Strippers are running in good numbers and sizes this year, so get out early and take advantage of this.
